Furniture Bio: I’m sure you guys either own, know somebody who owns, or have seen in resale shops a dresser that is SUPER great quality on the inside, but somebody at some time wasn't so nice to the exterior of that dresser.  We’d like to introduce you to our guy Henry.  Henry is a solid 9 drawer Dixie dresser.  Dovetail joints, heavy wood drawers, and a nearly flawless wood veneer exterior are some of his best attributes.  But when he came to us somebody had colored on, decorated him with stickers, and there was an odd gooey substance one could only guess at his origins.  He had a great MCM vibe going and we didn’t want to just paint him. He needed a special finish, so General Finishes Java Gel Stain it was.  We used a three step application process that allows you to apply the stain over the existing finish (gooey substance, sticker remnants, and crayon removed first of course!).  We also left his original hardware, because it suited him so well!
